Performance Marketing, Google Ads
Google Ads doesn't create demand. It captures it.
Someone is already searching for what you sell. The job is to be there, structured correctly, when they do. We build Google Ads accounts that turn intent into revenue, not clicks into invoices.
01Where Google Ads actually wins
Meta interrupts. Google answers.
The difference matters more than most agencies admit. On Meta, you show a product to someone who wasn't looking for it. On Google, you show up for someone who typed the need themselves. That intent is the most valuable signal in marketing, and Google Ads is the only channel built entirely around it.
This is why Google Ads works best when demand already exists. If people are searching “[commercial roofing contractor Pune]” or “GST software for CAs”, the market has told you it wants a solution. Your ad's job is to win the moment, not manufacture it.
It also means Google Ads has a ceiling. You can only capture as much demand as people are actively searching for. When you need to create want where none exists yet, a new category, an impulse product, a brand nobody knows to look for, Meta usually does the heavier lifting. Good performance marketing uses both for what each does best.
02The formats, and when each earns its budget
Google Ads is not one product. It's a stack of placements with very different jobs.
03Search, the demand-capture engine
Text ads on the results page. This is the highest-intent inventory in the account, and for most businesses it's where the first rupee should go. Someone searched. You appeared. The gap between their query and your landing page is where campaigns are won or lost.
04Shopping, the retailer's front line
Product listings with image, price, and store name. For ecommerce, Shopping often outperforms Search because the shopper sees the product before they click, so the click is more qualified. It runs off your product feed, which means feed quality quietly decides performance.
05Display, reach, retargeting, and restraint
Banner placements across the web. Display rarely converts cold traffic well, but it's sharp for one thing: bringing back people who already visited and didn't buy. Used for prospecting, it burns budget. Used for retargeting, it earns its place.
06Performance Max, powerful, and easy to misread
PMax runs across Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Gmail from one campaign, with Google's automation deciding the mix. It can scale results fast. It can also quietly cannibalise your branded search and hide where money actually goes. We run PMax deliberately, with the right asset groups, exclusions, and reporting, so you know what it's really doing.
07Structure beats bids
Most underperforming Google Ads accounts don't have a bidding problem. They have a structure problem.
When campaigns are organised badly, everything crammed into one ad group, brand and non-brand mixed, high-intent and research queries competing for the same budget, no bid strategy can save them. Google's algorithm learns from the signals you give it. Messy structure sends messy signals.
We build accounts around how people actually search and what each query is worth. Branded terms separated from cold demand. High-intent keywords protected with their own budget. Match types chosen on purpose, not by default. Negative keyword lists that stop you paying for searches that will never convert.
Get the structure right and bidding becomes almost boring, because the account is already sending clean signals about what “good” looks like.
08Optimise to conversions, not clicks
A click is a cost. A conversion is the point.
It sounds obvious, yet most accounts are still tuned to the wrong number. Cheaper clicks, higher click-through rates, more traffic, none of it matters if the traffic doesn't turn into leads, sales, or revenue. We've inherited accounts with beautiful CTRs and almost no return.
So we optimise to what the business actually needs. That starts with correct conversion tracking, real ones, deduplicated, with sensible values, so Google's automated bidding is learning from truth, not noise. From there, smart bidding can chase Target CPA or Target ROAS instead of chasing volume.
The result is an account that spends more where it works and less where it doesn't, automatically, and for the right reason.
09How we run your account
We start with an audit: what's tracked, what's structured well, where money is leaking. Then we rebuild around intent, fix the tracking, and set bidding to the goal that matters to you, cost per lead, return on ad spend, or profit.
After that, it's disciplined iteration. Search term reviews. Negative keywords. Budget shifts toward what converts. Landing-page feedback, because the best ad in the world can't rescue a weak page. Clear reporting that ties spend to outcomes, in rupees.
FAQ
How much should I budget for Google Ads in India?
It depends far more on your cost-per-click and target volume than on any fixed number. Competitive B2B keywords can cost several hundred rupees a click while niche local terms cost a fraction of that. We usually recommend starting with enough budget to gather clean conversion data in your highest-intent campaigns first, then scaling once the account proves what a lead or sale actually costs you.
How is Google Ads different from Meta Ads?
Google captures demand that already exists, people searching for what you sell, while Meta creates demand by putting your product in front of people who weren't looking. Google tends to win on high commercial intent; Meta tends to win on discovery, brand-building, and lower-consideration purchases. Most businesses we work with run both, using each for the job it does best.
Do you work with Search, Shopping, and Performance Max, or just Search?
All of them. We choose the mix based on what you sell and where the intent lives, Search for high-intent queries, Shopping and catalogue for ecommerce, PMax where automation genuinely helps, and Display mostly for retargeting. The point isn't to run every format; it's to run the ones that earn their budget for you.
Someone's searching for you right now.
The question is whether they find you or your competitor. We'll audit your account, show you exactly where budget is leaking, and rebuild it around the demand that already exists.
